Area of application
Curazink 15 mg hard capsules are a zinc preparation that is used to treat clinically confirmed zinc deficiency conditions, provided these cannot be remedied by changing your diet.The product is suitable for children aged 12 and over, teenagers and adults.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
Curazink 15 mg hard capsules contain the active ingredient zinc.One hard capsule contains 94 mg zinc histidine dihydrate, which corresponds to 15 mg zinc.The other ingredients are gelatin, magnesium stearate (vegetable), corn starch, sodium dodecyl sulfate, titanium dioxide (E 171) and purified water.
Contraindications
Curazink 15 mg hard capsules must not be taken if you are allergic to zinc or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.Patients with peptic stomach ulcers, acute kidney failure or severe kidney tissue damage should only take the product after consulting a doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the product should only be taken after a doctor's recommendation and if you have a confirmed zinc deficiency.
Dosage
The usual dose for children aged 12 and over, teenagers and adults is 1 Curazink capsule daily, which should be taken with meals.If you have problems swallowing the capsule, the contents can be stirred into liquid and drunk.The duration of use is determined by the attending physician.

Patient information
