Schoenenberger Echinacea Juice Echinacea is a natural medicinal plant juice that is used to support the treatment of frequently recurring infections in the respiratory and urinary tract areas.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The juice is used for recurring respiratory tract infections and urinary tract infections.It helps to strengthen the immune system and prevent infections.

Application

Adults and teenagers aged 16 and over should take 5 ml of the pressed juice twice a day before meals, either undiluted or with a little liquid.Children and adolescents between 10 and 16 years old can take 6 ml once a day or 4 ml twice a day.Children between 4 and 10 years should take 2 ml two to three times daily.The bottle should be shaken well before use.The juice should not be taken continuously for more than two weeks.

Composition

100 ml of the product contains 100 ml of pressed juice from fresh, flowering purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea [L.] MOENCH) in a ratio of 1:0.65 to 0.85.The juice contains no preservatives and no alcohol.

Storage

The medicine should not be stored above 30°C.After opening the bottle, the juice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.The expiry date is on the bottom flap.Medicines should no longer be used after the expiry date.

Contraindications

The juice should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or to composite plants.The juice must also not be taken in cases of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-infections, chronic viral diseases and other autoimmune diseases.Children under 4 years of age should generally not use the juice.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

So far, only side effects that have occurred in exceptional cases are known.If you experience any discomfort or changes during treatment, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Mode of action

The ingredients of the purple coneflower herb act as a natural mixture.The polysaccharides stimulate the immune system, while the cichoric acid inhibits the growth of germs and inflammation.A certain group of polysaccharides has also been associated with a positive effect on wound healing.

If you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C), the juice should be used with caution.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.A dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet and should therefore be used according to his instructions.
