Schoenenberger Echinacea Juice Echinacea is a natural medicinal plant juice that is used to support the treatment of frequently recurring infections in the respiratory and urinary tract areas.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The juice is used for recurring respiratory tract infections and urinary tract infections.It helps to strengthen the immune system and prevent infections.

Dosage and instructions for use

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents over 16 years of age take 5 ml of pressed juice undiluted or with a little liquid twice a day before meals.Children and adolescents aged 10 to 16 years take 6 ml once a day to 4 ml twice a day.Children 4 to 10 years old take 2 ml 2 to 3 times a day.Please use the enclosed dosing cup.The juice should not be taken continuously for more than 2 weeks.Shake well before use.

Composition

100 ml of the juice contains 100 ml of pressed juice from fresh, flowering purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea [L.] MOENCH) (1: 0.65 - 0.85).

Storage

The medicine should no longer be used after the expiry date.The expiry date is on the bottom flap.The juice contains no preservatives and no alcohol.It should not be stored above 30°C.After opening the bottle, the juice can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Contraindications

The juice should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or to composite plants.The juice must also not be taken in cases of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-infections, chronic viral diseases and other autoimmune diseases.Children under 4 years of age should generally not use the juice.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects

So far, only a few side effects are known, which can occur in exceptional cases.If you feel unwell or change during treatment, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Mode of action

The ingredients of the purple coneflower herb act as a natural mixture.The polysaccharides stimulate the immune system, while the cichoric acid inhibits the growth of germs and inflammation.A certain group of polysaccharides has been shown to have a positive effect on wound healing.
