Soledum capsules forte are a medicine with the active ingredient cineole.It is used to treat the symptoms of bronchitis, acute, uncomplicated, non-bacterial inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (rhinosinusitis) and colds of the respiratory tract.It can also be used as an additional treatment for chronic and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

The active ingredient cineole in Soledum capsules forte dissolves stuck, tough mucus in the respiratory tract.It promotes the formation of thinner mucus that is easier to cough up.This makes it more difficult for pathogens to establish themselves and multiply.Cineole also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling of the mucous membranes.

Dosage and application

Soledum capsules forte are suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 and over.It is generally recommended to take one capsule three times a day about half an hour before meals with a glass of drinking water.If the symptoms persist, the dose can be increased to four capsules daily.As part of continued or long-term treatment, one capsule twice a day is sufficient.The capsules should be swallowed whole.If you have a sensitive stomach, they can also be taken during a non-hot meal.

Contraindications
