The herbal medicine is used to calm restlessness and nervous-related problems falling asleep.No prescription is required for this product.If the symptoms last longer than two weeks or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each coated tablet contains the following active ingredients: 125 milligrams of dry extract of valerian root, 112.5 milligrams of dry extract of lemon balm leaves and 80 milligrams of dry extract of passionflower herb.Other ingredients include gum arabic, calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, cellulose, quinoline yellow, croscarmellose sodium, glucose, indigo carmine, maltodextrin, sodium sulfate, sucrose, shellac, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide, tragacanth and bleached wax.

Contraindications

The preparation must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to lemon balm, valerian, passionflower or any of the other ingredients.Its use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended as there are no sufficient studies available.The medicine should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage and application

Adults and children over 12 years of age can take two coated tablets up to three times a day to treat restlessness.For nervous-related problems falling asleep, two coated tablets are recommended half an hour to an hour before going to bed.If necessary, two additional coated tablets can be taken earlier in the evening.The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water.The duration of use is not limited in principle, but a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist for more than two weeks or if they worsen.

Overdose and forgetting to take it

If you accidentally take twice or three times the intended dosage (corresponding to four to six tablets), no adverse consequences are usually expected.The intake should then be continued as described or as prescribed by the doctor.In the event of a significant overdose, a doctor should be contacted.If you forget to take a dose, you should not take a double dose, but continue using it as directed or as prescribed by your doctor.

Storage instructions

The medicine should no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the container and outer carton.It should be kept out of the reach of children.

The ingredients of the medicine come from various plants and work as a natural mixture.Valerian has anti-anxiety, calming and sleep-inducing properties.The essential oils of lemon balm relieve nervousness and tension, while passion flower preparations have calming and antispasmodic effects.

The ability to react can also be impaired when used as intended, especially in higher doses or in combination with alcohol.Caution is advised if you are allergic to spices, essential oils, turpentine oil, cinnamon, birch, poplar buds, propolis, turmeric, rosin, salicylic acid, parabens, phenol, St. John's wort, hawthorn, Arabic gum, binding agents, talc, peanuts, soy, legumes, lupinia, quinoline yellow and indigo carmine.
