Articulatio genus GI series pack I, II and III is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used for knee joint diseases to stimulate the organ-forming forces in degenerative and chronic inflammatory diseases of the knee joint.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The liquid dilution for injection D5 and D6 should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the donor animal protein.There are no known contraindications for dilution from D8.

Precautions and warnings

If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.There is no adequately documented experience with use in children under 12 years of age, so in this case the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.Even during pregnancy and breastfeeding, Articulatio genus GI should only be used after consulting a doctor.

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Type of application

The subcutaneous injection is done around the knee joint, including at pain points.First, the puncture site is cleaned, then a fold of skin is formed and the injection needle is inserted at an angle.The syringe plunger is then pulled back slightly to check whether blood appears.If blood appears, the injection is repeated at another site.If no blood appears, inject slowly and then withdraw the needle.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions to donor animal proteins may occur in sensitized individuals when dilution D5 or D6 is used.In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.There are no known side effects for dilution from D8.

Composition

Articulatio genus GI contains the active ingredient Articulatio genus bovis GI in various dilutions (D5, D6, D8, D10, D12, D15, D30), potentiated with an isotonic sodium chloride-sodium bicarbonate solution.Each ampoule contains 1 ml of liquid dilution for injection.
