Instructions for use of Ratanhia comp.Solution

Ratanhia comp.is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for inflammation in the mouth area.It helps with excessive metabolic processes in the gums and oral mucosa, such as inflammatory changes, pressure sores, bleeding tendencies and aphthous ulcers.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application of Ratanhia comp.Seen in inflammation of the mouth area.These include inflammatory changes, pressure points, bleeding tendencies and aphthae.

Important notes

Ratanhia comp.must not be used if you are hypersensitive to eucalyptus oil, lavender oil, peppermint oil or any of the other ingredients.The medicine should also not be used in infants and small children under 2 years of age as there is a risk of laryngeal spasm.

This medicine contains 69% alcohol by volume.

Application

Contact Ratanhia comp.Always follow the instructions in the package insert exactly.The usual dose is around 15 drops added to half a glass of water several times a day and used in mouth baths.Adults and teenagers aged 12 and over can also massage their gums several times a day with the undiluted solution.For use in dental practice, Ratanhia comp.applied to the diseased mucosal areas.Contact with eyes must be avoided.

Treatment for acute inflammation should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Ratanhia comp.have side effects, but not everyone gets them.In sensitized patients, eucalyptus oil, lavender oil and peppermint oil can trigger hypersensitivity reactions.In this case, stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.

Composition

10 g (= 11.1 ml) contains: Active ingredients: Myrrhae tinctura 4 g, Ratanhiae radix extractum fluidum [Droge zu Extrakt = 1:1; Auszugsmittel Ethanol 43 % (m/m)] 1.158 g, Aesculus, Cortex, ethanol.Decoctum Dil.D19 0.1 g, Argentum nitricum Dil.D14 [ab D7 mit Ethanol 15 % (m/m)] 0.1 g, Fluorite Dil.D9 [ab D8 mit Ethanol 15 % (m/m)] 0.1 g, Kieserite Dil.D19 0.1 g, Caryophylli floris aetheroleum 0.004 g, Eucalypti aetheroleum 0.01 g, Lavandulae aetheroleum 0.007 g, Menthae piperitae aetheroleum 0.035 g, Salviae officinalis aetheroleum 0.005 g.Other ingredients: Ethanol 96%, purified water.
