GeloBronchial herbal cough syrup - instructions for use

GeloBronchial juice is a herbal medicine that is used for colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus and to improve the symptoms of acute bronchitis.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

GeloBronchial juice is used for catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract.It helps with colds with thick mucus and improves the symptoms of acute bronchitis.If your symptoms do not improve after seven days or worsen, you should see a doctor.If symptoms persist for a long time, shortness of breath, fever or purulent/bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Application and dosage

Always take GeloBronchial juice exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is:

Children aged 4 to 12 years (approx. 17-39 kg): 4.5 ml syrup, three times daily (equivalent to 2527 mg thyme fluid extract).

Children aged 12 and over and adults: 15 ml syrup, three times daily (equivalent to 8424 mg thyme fluid extract).

The syrup can be taken undiluted or as a hot drink (e.g. with tea or water).It can be taken regardless of meals.Do not take the medicine for more than a week without medical advice.

Composition

The active ingredient in GeloBronchial juice is fluid extract from thyme herb.15 ml syrup contains 2808 mg fluid extract from thyme herb (1:2 - 2.5), extractant: ammonia solution 10% (m/m), glycerol 85%, ethanol 90% (v/v), water (1:20:70:109).The other ingredients are invert sugar syrup and purified water.

Storage

Keep GeloBronchial juice out of the reach of children and do not store it above 25°C.The medicine can no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the bottle label and carton.After opening the bottle, the medicine has a shelf life of 12 months.Due to the plant-based basis, flocculation may occasionally occur, which does not affect the effectiveness.

Mode of action

Thyme, the main active ingredient in GeloBronchial juice, has a disinfectant effect and promotes expectoration.The ingredients stimulate the fine hairs of the bronchi to move faster and stimulate the lungs to excrete thinner secretions.Thyme also relieves spasms in the bronchi and digestive tract.

Contraindications

GeloBronchial juice must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or in children under 4 years of age.Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Important notes

GeloBronchial juice contains alcohol and should therefore be used with caution in people with liver disease, alcoholics, epileptics, brain damage, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children.If you have intolerance to fructose or glucose or have diabetes, the sugar content should be taken into account.
