Dosage and application

The dosage of Vomex A children's suppositories 40 mg depends on the child's body weight.The recommended dose is:

Small children weighing 8 to 16 kg: 1 suppository (40 mg dimenhydrinate) once daily.

Children weighing 16 to 24 kg: 1 suppository (40 mg dimenhydrinate) twice daily.

Children weighing 24 to 36 kg: 1 suppository (40 mg dimenhydrinate) two to three times daily.

The suppositories should be inserted deep into the rectum.To prevent motion sickness, the first application should be about 30 to 60 minutes before the start of the trip.To treat nausea and vomiting, doses should be given at regular intervals throughout the day.

Side effects
