Area of application

Liquid mouth balm is an anthroposophical medicine that is used for diseases of the oral mucosa.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, it serves to harmonize the build-up and breakdown processes in acute and chronic recurrent inflammatory mucous membrane disorders in the mouth area.

10 g (10.2 ml) liquid mouth balm contains the following active ingredients: Antimonit Dil.D7 0.1 g, Argentum nitricum Dil.D19 aquos.(HAB, Vs. 5b) 0.1 g, Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a Dil.D13 (HAB, Vs. 33a) 0.1 g, Echinacea pallida e planta tota ferm 33c Dil.D2 (HAB, Vs. 33c) 0.1 g, Quartz Dil.D20 aquos.0.1 g and Rosae aetheroleum 0.001 g.Components 2, 3 and 5 are raised together over the third to last level and components 1-5 over the last two levels.

Other ingredients include lemon oil, citric acid monohydrate, ethanol 96%, ginger oil, sodium chloride, clove oil, purified water and lactose.

Contraindications

Liquid mouth balm must not be used if you are hypersensitive to one of the active ingredients or excipients or to composite plants or if you are an alcoholic.For fundamental reasons, use in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukoses, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases is not permitted.

Dosage

In the case of acute symptoms, unless otherwise prescribed, you should apply five drops of liquid, undiluted liquid mouth balm three times a day to the affected areas using a pipette or place five drops on a small cotton ball that is pushed into the appropriate area in the oral cavity and pressed there.If the pain is severe, you can initially use the preparation every hour and, after improvement, continue as described above.

For large areas of inflammation and ulcers, add one pipette filling to about 50 ml (a quarter of a glass) of warm water.Rinse with this solution for about two minutes three times a day.After use, close the bottle with the pipette screw cap.

Liquid mouth balm should not be used for longer than two weeks without interruption.

Intake

The liquid mouth balm is used to apply to the oral mucosa.If there are local changes in the oral mucosa, the affected areas are immediately dripped with the medicine; if there are large-scale changes, rinsing is carried out.

Patient information

If there is no significant improvement within a week, if the symptoms worsen despite using the product or if they recur more frequently, you should consult a doctor or dentist.For example, a pressing denture may need to be adjusted or other specific measures taken.

Pregnancy

Like all medicines, liquid mouth balm should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.Please note that liquid mouth balm contains lactose.If you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, only use the product after consulting your doctor.The medicine contains 13.5% alcohol by volume.

Other

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.After opening, the product has a shelf life of 16 weeks.
