Selenase 50 peroral is a trace element preparation that is used to treat proven selenium deficiency that cannot be corrected through nutrition.A selenium deficiency can occur in maldigestion and malabsorption conditions as well as in malnutrition and malnutrition.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Selenase 50 oral is sodium selenite pentahydrate.Each drinking ampoule with 1 ml solution contains 50 µg pure selenium as sodium selenite pentahydrate in a 0.9% NaCl solution.The other ingredients are sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid 10% and water for injections.

Areas of application

Selenase 50 orally is used in cases of proven selenium deficiency that cannot be compensated for through diet.This can be the case in maldigestion and malabsorption conditions as well as in malnutrition and malnutrition.

Dosage and application

Always take Selenase 50 orally exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose is 50 µg selenium daily, equivalent to one drinking ampoule.The single dose is separated from the bar and opened by twisting off the top.The contents of the ampoule are completely transferred into the oral cavity and should be kept in the mouth for 1/2 to 1 minute before swallowing.Treatment should continue until the selenium status normalizes.Regular testing of the selenium level at appropriate intervals is recommended.

Contraindications

Selenase 50 orally must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to sodium selenite pentahydrate or any of the other ingredients or if you have selenium poisoning.There are no restrictions during pregnancy and breastfeeding if used as intended.

To date, there are no known side effects when used as intended.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the carton or on the back of the top of the drinking ampoules.The medicine should not be stored above 25°C.After opening or preparation, the medicine should be used within the next hour and is only intended for single use.Leftovers must be discarded.
