Mode of action

Echinacea STADA Classic is a natural medicine that is taken worldwide to strengthen the immune system.In modern European phytotherapy, only the herb extract of the red coneflower, i.e. Echinacea purpurea, is recognized as effective.Since the coneflower belongs to the daisy family, allergy sufferers should be careful not to take it.

81.5 g purple coneflower pressed juice (2.5-1.5:1) and 18.5 g ethanol 96% (V/V) as an excipient.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient purple coneflower, daisy family or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.For fundamental reasons, the preparation must not be taken in the case of progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukemia or leukemia-like diseases, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue (collagenosis), multiple sclerosis, AIDS-disease, HIV-infection, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and children aged 12 and over take 40 drops 4 to 5 times a day.The medicine should not be taken continuously for more than 2 weeks.Please talk to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of the product is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken a larger amount of the medicine than you should, poisoning with preparations made from Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) has not yet been reported.Taking large amounts of this medicine may cause alcohol poisoning, especially in children;In this case, there is a risk to life, which is why you should consult a doctor immediately.When taking the entire contents of the bottle, around 9.25 g of alcohol (50 ml of the preparation) or 18.5 g of alcohol (100 ml of the preparation) are absorbed.
