Carum carvi suppositories are an anthroposophical medicine.They serve to harmonize the organization of sensation in the metabolic system in the event of digestive weakness, which is accompanied by flatulence and a tendency to abdominal cramps.In addition, related restlessness and sleep disorders can be treated.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each suppository weighing 2 grams contains the following active ingredients: 40 milligrams of caraway seed thick extract, 2 milligrams of Atropa belladonna ex herba ferm 33a, 2 milligrams of Chamomilla e radice ferm 33c and 2 milligrams of Nicotiana tabacum ferm 33b.It also contains the excipients glycerol, hard fat and bee honey.

Contraindications

Carum carvi suppositories must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to chamomile or other composite plants, caraway or other umbelliferous plants, belladonna and other active ingredients as well as the other ingredients of the medicine.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children aged 7 and over can insert a suppository into the rectum 1 to 3 times a day.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.

The suppositories should be inserted into the rectum.
