Argentum metallicum praeparatum is an anthroposophic medicine used as a liquid dilution for injection.It serves to stimulate and structure metabolic processes.Areas of application include exhausting fever states, acute inflammatory diseases, constitutional weakness, mental overload and sleep disorders.No prescription is required for this product.

Application

Argentum metallicum praeparatum should always be used as directed by a doctor.The usual dosage for adults and children of all ages is 1 ml subcutaneously twice a week to once a day.The potency level is determined individually by the doctor.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.Before the injection, the injection site should be cleaned and a fold of skin formed.The needle is inserted at an angle and care should be taken not to hit any blood vessels.After the injection, the needle is pulled out and the injection site is briefly pressed.It is recommended to learn the injection technique from an experienced person.

The duration of use depends on the course of the symptoms and the individual condition of the patient.In the case of febrile illnesses, treatment is continued until the acute symptoms subside.If an application is forgotten, it is not necessary to take a double dose.
