Argentum metallicum praeparatum D20 is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to stimulate and structure metabolic processes.Areas of application include exhausting fever states, acute inflammatory diseases, constitutional weakness, mental overload and sleep disorders.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Argentum metallicum praeparatum D6 and D8 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein or silver.There are no known contraindications for the liquid dilutions for injection from D12.It should not be used in cases of fever, acute inflammatory diseases or depression without medical advice.If symptoms persist or are unclear, please consult a doctor.

Before using any medicines during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice.Interactions with other medicines are not known.However, tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medicines you are using.

Application

Always use Argentum metallicum praeparatum exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and children of all ages is 1 ml subcutaneously twice weekly to once daily.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.The duration of application depends on the course of the symptoms and individual well-being.

If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.Have an experienced person show you the injection technique.If you have any questions about use, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

Argentum metallicum praeparatum D6 and D8 can cause allergic reactions because they contain lactose, which contains small amounts of milk protein.There are no known side effects for Argentum metallicum praeparatum from D12.Reports of side effects contribute to the safety of the drug.

Composition and dosage form

Argentum metallicum praeparatum is available as a liquid dilution for injection in various potency levels.Each ampoule contains 1 ml of the active ingredient Argentum metallicum praeparatum in aqueous dilution.Liquid dilutions for injection D6 and D8 contain sodium chloride as an excipient, while dilutions D12 to D30 are isotonized with sodium chloride.The medicine is available in packs of 8 ampoules of 1 ml.
