Instructions for use for the article Argentum/Berberis Comp.

Argentum/Berberis comp.is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used for various types of inflammation.It serves to harmonize the interaction between sensation and life organization in the metabolic system.Areas of application include acute and chronic recurrent, purulent, febrile inflammation of the mucous membranes of the nasopharynx and paranasal sinuses, the upper respiratory tract and the urinary tract, as well as inflammation of the uterine lining.

No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients

Argentum/Berberis comp.contains the following active ingredients: Argentum metallicum praeparatum D20, Berberis, Fructus Rh D3 and Quartz D12.The last stage of the active ingredients is potentiated together.The preparation is isotonized with sodium chloride.

Application

Argentum/Berberis comp.should always be used exactly as directed by your doctor.The usual dose is 1 ml injected subcutaneously 2-3 times a week to once a day.Small children aged 2 to 5 years receive 0.5 ml injected subcutaneously 2-3 times a week to once a day.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.The puncture site should be cleaned beforehand.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Argentum/Berberis comp.is used until the inflammation subsides.If an application is missed, a double dose should not be used.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Argentum/Berberis comp.have side effects, but not everyone gets them.Occasionally, a brief burning sensation may occur around the puncture site.If you experience side effects, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Special Notes

Argentum/Berberis comp.should not be used in infants and small children up to the age of 2 as there is no sufficiently documented experience.In the case of uterine infections, a medical examination is required.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.It should not be stored above 25 °C.

Composition and dosage form

1 Ampoule contains 0.334 g Argentum metallicum praeparatum Dil.D20, 0.334 g Berberis, Fructus Rh Dil.D3 and 0.334 g Quartz Dil.D12.The preparation is available in 8 ampoules of 1 ml liquid dilution for injection.
