Instructions for use for Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa

Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used to stimulate the immune system in all kinds of acute inflammatory and feverish processes.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients or to composite plants, in infants under 1 year of age and during pregnancy.For fundamental reasons, it should not be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, malignant diseases of the white blood cells, inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue, autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-disease, HIV-infection or other chronic viral diseases.

If there is no improvement after a week or if there is a fever that lasts longer than 3 days or rises above 39 °C, a doctor must be consulted.If you are breastfeeding, you should ask your doctor for advice before using any medication.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

Application

Always use Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa exactly as your doctor has told you.The single dose is 1 ml for adults, adolescents and children aged 10 and over, 0.8 ml for school children aged 6 to 9 years and 0.5 ml for small children aged 1 to 5 years. In the acute phase, the single dose is injected subcutaneously 1-2 times daily.The injections are then given 2-3 times a week until the disease subsides.

The subcutaneous injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, form a fold of skin and insert the injection needle at an angle.Pull back the syringe plunger slightly.If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit.In this case, repeat the injection at another location.If no blood appears, inject slowly, then pull out the needle and briefly press the injection site with a swab.

Do not use Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa for longer than 3 weeks without medical advice.Do not use a double dose if you forget to use it previously.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Argentum D30/Echinacea D6 aa can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.After subcutaneous injection of the drug, harmless irritation may occur in the area of the injection site.Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations from echinacea.In these cases you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.

Composition

1 Ampoule contains the active ingredients Argentum metallicum praeparatum Dil.D30 0.5 g and Echinacea angustifolia, Planta tota Rh Dil.D6 0.5g.Isotonized with sodium chloride.
