Instructions for use for Cerussit D8

Cerussit D8 is an anthroposophic medicine that is used to support the treatment of structural and shape changes in the skeleton.This includes in particular bone remodeling as a result of malignant underlying diseases as well as general and localized demineralization, such as bone metastases, reduction of bone tissue (osteoporosis) and bone softening (osteomalacia).

No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and composition

Cerussit D8 contains the active ingredient Cerussit Dil.D8 aquos.in a liquid dilution for injection.Sodium chloride is also included as an additional ingredient.Cerussit D20 is isotonized with sodium chloride.

Application and dosage

Cerussit should always be used exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose is 1 ml twice a week to once a day, injected subcutaneously.The appropriate potency level is selected individually by the doctor.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Contraindications and precautions

Cerussit D8 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.There are no known contraindications for Cerussit D20.It should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other prescribed medicines.Cerussit should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Cerussit should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Side effects

Cerussit D8 can cause allergic reactions because it contains small amounts of milk protein.There are no known side effects for Cerussit D20.If you experience side effects, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.
