Directions for use of the article Cerussit D8: Cerussit D8 is an anthroposophical medicinal product used in structural and formative changes of the skeleton. It is used as a supportive remedy for bone remodelling as a result of underlying malignant diseases, general as well as circumscribed demineralisation and various other bone problems. Cerussite D8 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein. You should seek medical advice before use, as the medicine does not replace other prescribed medicines. Use in children under 12 years of age should be avoided unless there is sufficient documented experience. Cerussite should only be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding after consulting a doctor. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. The recommended dosage of Cerussit is 1 ml injected subcutaneously 2 times a week to 1 time a day. The duration of treatment of chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor. If you forget to use Cerussit, do not use a double dose. Cerussit may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Lactose in Cerussit D8 may cause allergic reactions. Report any side effects to your doctor, pharmacist or the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. The expiry date of the medicinal product should be observed and it should not be used after the stated date. Cerussite consists of Cerussite Dil. D8 and sodium chloride, and is available as a liquid dilution for injection. It is manufactured by Weleda AG .
