Instructions for use for Cuprum Metallicum Praeparatum D30

Cuprum metallicum praeparatum D30 is a registered homeopathic medicine that is used without specifying a therapeutic indication.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Cuprum metallicum praeparatum D30 is used as a homeopathic medicine in the anthroposophical therapy direction.If symptoms do not improve during use, medical advice should be sought.

Contraindications

Cuprum metallicum praeparatum D6 must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to milk protein.There are no known contraindications for the liquid dilutions for injection from D10.

Precautions for use

Liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is insufficient documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medicines

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Type of application

The subcutaneous injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, a fold of skin is formed and the injection needle is inserted at an angle.Before the injection, the syringe plunger should be pulled back slightly to ensure that no blood vessel has been hit.If blood appears, the injection should be repeated at another site.The injection technique should be learned by an experienced person.

The duration of treatment should be discussed with a doctor.

Side effects

For Cuprum metallicum praeparatum D6, lactose, which contains small amounts of milk protein, can cause allergic reactions.There are no known side effects for the liquid dilutions for injection from D10.

Reporting of side effects

If side effects are noticed, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.Side effects can also be reported directly to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.

Notes

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.It should be stored so that it is not accessible to children.

Composition

Cuprum metallicum praeparatum D6, D10, D20 and D30 each contain 1 ml of the active ingredient Cuprum metallicum praeparatum in the appropriate dilution.The liquid dilutions for injection D6 and D10 contain sodium chloride as an excipient.The liquid dilutions for injection D20 and D30 are isotonized with sodium chloride.

Dosage form and pack size

The medicine is available as a liquid dilution for injection in 8 ampoules of 1 ml each.
