Instructions for use of Ferrum Phosphoricum D8

Ferrum phosphoricum D8 is a liquid dilution for injection.This anthroposophical medicine is used for diseases of the respiratory system.For example, it helps to normalize metabolic processes in the respiratory system, especially in acute, febrile diseases of the respiratory tract, and can be used as an adjunct to pneumonia.No prescription is required for this product.

Important information before use

Ferrum phosphoricum D8 must not be used if you are hypersensitive to milk protein.If you have a fever that lasts longer than three days or rises above 39 °C, shortness of breath, purulent or bloody sputum, and persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is insufficient experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Ferrum phosphoricum D8 should only be used after consulting a doctor.There are no known interactions with other medicines.

Application of Ferrum Phosphoricum D8

Always use Ferrum phosphoricum D8 exactly as your doctor has told you.The usual dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1 ml twice a week to once a day, injected subcutaneously.The injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, you should see a doctor.If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

Possible side effects

Lactose contains small amounts of milk protein and can cause allergic reactions.In such cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Additional notes

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.One ampoule contains 1 ml of Ferrum phosphoricum Dil.D8 aquos as active ingredient and sodium chloride as other ingredient.The pack size is 8 ampoules of 1 ml each of liquid dilution for injection.
