Instructions for use for Skorodit D 8 ampoules

Skorodit is a liquid dilution for injection and is one of the homeopathic medicines of the anthroposophical therapy direction.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Skorodit is a registered homeopathic medicine used without specifying a specific therapeutic indication.If symptoms do not improve during use, medical advice should be sought.

Contraindications

Skorodit D8 must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to milk protein.There are no known contraindications for Skorodit D30.

Precautions for use

Skorodit liquid dilutions for injection should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Interactions with other medicines

There are no known interactions with other medicines.

Dosage

The appropriate potency level is selected by the doctor based on the respective clinical picture and prescribed individually.

Type of application

The subcutaneous injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, a fold of skin is formed and the injection needle is inserted at an angle.The syringe plunger is pulled back slightly.If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit and the injection must be repeated elsewhere.If no blood appears, the injection is carried out slowly, then the needle is pulled out and the injection site is briefly pressed with a swab.It is recommended that an experienced person learn the injection technique.

Duration of application

The duration of treatment should be agreed with the doctor.

Side effects

Skorodit D8 contains lactose, which contains small amounts of milk protein and can cause allergic reactions.There are no known side effects for Skorodit D30.

Notes

The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.It should be stored so that it is not accessible to children.

Skorodit D8 1 ampoule contains: Active ingredient: Skorodit Dil.D8 aquos.1 ml. Skorodit D30 1 ampoule contains: Active ingredient: Skorodit Dil.D30 1 ml. D8: Excipient: sodium chloride.D30: Isotonized with sodium chloride.
