Conium Maculatum 5% ointment is a homeopathic medicine and is therefore used without specifying a therapeutic indication.It belongs to the anthroposophical therapy direction and enables holistic and individual treatment.

10 g of the ointment contains the active ingredient Conium maculatum Ø in an amount of 1 g.The ointment base consists of refined sesame oil, lanolin, yellow wax, lanolin alcohols (containing butylated hydroxytoluene), ethanol 94% (m/m) and purified water.

Contraindications

The ointment should not be used if you are hypersensitive to sesame oil or any of the other ingredients.The product must also not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.The ointment is not suitable for children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience with its use in children.

Dosage

The ointment can be applied to the affected skin areas once or twice a day.It can also be used as a bandage.The maximum daily dose should not exceed 2.5 g to avoid overdose.

Side effects and precautions

In rare cases, sesame oil can cause severe allergic reactions.Wool wax and wool wax alcohols can cause localized skin reactions, while butylated hydroxytoluene can cause skin irritation, eye irritation and mucous membrane irritation.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

No prescription is required for this product.Do not store the ointment above 30°C and out of the reach of children.After opening the pack, the ointment has a shelf life of 8 weeks.If your symptoms do not improve during use, you should seek medical advice.
