Instructions for use of Bryophyllum 50%

Bryophyllum 50% is an anthroposophic medicine available as an oral powder.The active ingredient is pressed juice from Kalanchoe pinnata, Folium.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

In accordance with the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, the following areas of application are treated: susceptibility to special forms of functional disorders and recurring inflammations in the area of the metabolic system, painful conditions when the vital forces are weakened, restlessness and exceptional mental states as well as the resulting sleep disorders.

Contraindications and precautions

Bryophyllum 50% must not be used if you are hypersensitive to Bryophyllum (Kalanchoe).If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Important information about certain ingredients: This medicine contains lactose.If you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, please only take it after consulting your doctor.

Application and dosage

Always take Bryophyllum 50% exactly as directed in the package leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: 2 pinches of powder 3 times a day.Infants in their 1st year of life receive 1 pinch of powder dissolved in tea 3 times a day.

Treatment of the disease should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Bryophyllum 50% can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.The medicine should then be stopped and a doctor consulted.

Composition and dosage form

10 G of oral powder contains: Active ingredient: 5 g of pressed juice from Kalanchoe pinnata, Folium.Other ingredient: lactose monohydrate.The medicine is available in pack sizes of 20 g and 50 g.
