Areas of application

Primula Muscle Nutrient Oil is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It is used to stimulate metabolic processes in cases of muscle weakness and atrophy, which can be caused by neurological or primarily muscular diseases.The oil can also be used after a long period of immobilization.

Contraindications

Primula Muscle Nutrient Oil must not be used on wounds or on acutely inflamed or eczematous skin areas.The product should not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to peanut oil or soy.If you are hypersensitive to cowslips (Primula veris), the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.

The medicine should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Primula Muscle Nutrient Oil should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the oil should be rubbed in with 2 to 3 ml 1 to 3 times a day.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be discussed with your doctor.

Side effects

Photosensitization or redness of the skin may occur, requiring discontinuation of the drug.Peanut oil can rarely cause severe allergic reactions.

Composition

10 g (11 ml) contain the following active ingredients: Hyoscyamus niger ex herba ferm 33d 0 (HAB, Vs. 33d) 0.1 mg, Myocardium bovis Gl Dil.D7 (HAB, Vs. 41c) 0.1 mg, oil extract from Hypericum perforatum, Herba rec.(4:1) Extractants: Refined peanut oil 1.0 g, Primula veris e floribus W 5% (HAB, vs. 12g with refined peanut oil) 4.5 g, Quartz 0.001 mg, Rosmarini aetheroleum 0.03 g.Other ingredients include refined peanut oil and cocoa butter.

Primula muscle nutrient oil is available as a 100 ml oily rub.
