Therapeutic indications

This anthroposophic medicinal product is used for circulatory disorders affecting the venous and lymphatic systems.This includes revitalizing and ionizing the fluid organism in cases of a weakened vital organization within the peripheral circulation.Examples include pressure sores (decubitus ulcers), superficial vein inflammation associated with thrombosis (peripheral thrombophlebitis), conditions associated with varicose veins (varicose symptom complex), tissue fluid retention (edema), and a sensation of heaviness in the legs.

Contraindications

The product must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to horse chestnut, oak bark, or goldenrod herb.

Precautions and warnings

Consult a doctor immediately if there is a sudden increase in pain, rapidly increasing swelling, or bluish discoloration of the legs, as these symptoms may indicate deep vein thrombosis.Any additional measures prescribed by the doctor—such as leg wrapping, wearing compression stockings, or cold water applications—must be strictly followed.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

As with all medicines, this product should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Composition

10 g (10.2 ml) contain the following active ingredients: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine LA 25% sicc.(HAB, Vs. 12m) 3.0 g, Borago officinalis ex herba LA 20% (HAB, Vs. 12c) 0.5 g, Prunus spinosa e fructibus LA 25% (HAB, Vs. 12o) 3.0 g, Quercus robur/petraea e cortice, Decoctum LA 10% (HAB, Vs. 12k) 3.0 g, Solidago virgaurea ex herba LA 20% (HAB, Vs. 12c) 0.5 g.

Usage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the tincture may be used as follows: For compresses, add 1 tablespoon of tincture to approx. 1/4 L of lukewarm water.For washings, add 1 tablespoon of tincture to 1 L of water.For topical application (rubbing), use the undiluted tincture (only on areas of unbroken skin).

Duration of use

Treatment of an acute condition should be completed within 2 weeks.If no improvement occurs within 2 to 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.The duration of treatment for chronic conditions requires consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or skin rash may occur very rarely.In such cases, discontinue use of the medicinal product and consult a doctor.
