Areas of application

According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application of Bryophyllum 5% 1 ml injection solution include the susceptibility to special forms of functional disorders and recurring inflammations in the area of the metabolic system.In addition, the preparation can be used for painful conditions when vital forces are weakened as well as for restlessness and emotional states of emergency and resulting sleep disorders.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in the injection solution is an aqueous extract of Kalanchoe pinnata, Folium rec.(Plant to extract = 1:1.1) in an amount of 0.1 g per ampoule of 1 ml. Other ingredients are sodium chloride and water for injection purposes.

Contraindications

Bryophyllum 5% 1 ml solution for injection must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to Bryophyllum (Kalanchoe).If symptoms persist or are unclear, you should consult a doctor.The product should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there is no adequately documented experience.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Dosage and application

Always use Bryophyllum 5% 1 ml solution for injection exactly as your doctor has told you.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is to inject 1 ml subcutaneously twice a week to once a day.The subcutaneous injection is usually carried out in the thigh, the outside of the upper arm or the abdominal region.After cleaning the injection site, form a fold of skin and insert the injection needle at an angle.Pull back the syringe plunger slightly.If blood appears, a blood vessel has been hit.In this case, repeat the injection at another location.If no blood appears, inject slowly, then pull out the needle and briefly press the injection site with a swab.It is recommended that the injection technique be learned by someone experienced in it.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within this period, a doctor should be consulted.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.Do not use a double dose if you forget to use it previously.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Bryophyllum 5% 1 ml solution for injection can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage and shelf life

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the ampoules and carton.For long-term storage, a temperature of 25°C should not be exceeded.
