Instructions for use of Quercus hemorrhoidal suppositories

Quercus hemorrhoidal suppositories are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for diseases in the anal area.This product is available without a prescription.

Areas of application

Quercus hemorrhoidal suppositories are used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.They serve to stimulate the building and structuring forces in deforming and chronic inflammatory changes in the anal region.These include, for example, hemorrhoidal disease and inflammation of the anal area (anitis).

Contraindications

To date there are no known contraindications.

Precautions and warnings

If there is blood in the stool or persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.There is no adequately documented experience with the use of the drug in children.Therefore it should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Quercus hemorrhoidal suppositories should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 suppository should be inserted into the rectum 1 to 2 times daily.

Duration of application

Treatment of the disease should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 to 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

So far there are no known side effects.

Storage

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Do not store/keep above 25 °C!

Composition

1 Suppository of 2 g contains the following active ingredients: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine ferm 34c Ø (HAB, Vs. 34c) 10 mg;Borago officinalis e foliis ferm 34b Ø (HAB, Vs. 34b) 10 mg;Hamamelis virginiana e foliis ferm 33d Ø (HAB, Vs. 33d) 10 mg;Quercus robur/petraea e cortice, Decoctum Ø (HAB, Vs. 23a) 200 mg (concentrated to 20 mg);Silybum marianum e fructibus ferm 36 Ø (HAB, Vs. 36) 10 mg;Ingredients 1-3 and 5 concentrated to 20 mg.Other ingredients include hard fat and honey.

Dosage form and pack size

10 Suppositories of 2 g each.
