What do you need to consider before taking Lacteol powder?

Lacteol powder must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.Particular caution is required in the case of acute diarrhea with a high fever.In this case, you should see a doctor no later than the third day.Children under two years of age should only take the product after consulting a doctor.Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use Lacteol powder as there is no sufficient experience to date.

How to take Lacteol powder?

Always take Lacteol powder exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.The usual dose for adults and children is 800 to 1,600 mg of powder daily, which is equivalent to one to two sachets.For acute diarrhea, one sachet is taken three times a day on the first day, then twice a day thereafter.The powder is dissolved in water and drunk.It can be taken regardless of meals.The treatment should be continued for another two days after the symptoms have subsided.
