Instructions for use of arnica ointment

Arnica ointment is an anthroposophic medicine that is used for various complaints of the musculoskeletal system.It contains the active ingredients Arnica montana e planta tota ferm 33c Ø, Formica rufa ex animale toto GI Ø and Symphytum officinale e radice ferm 34c Ø.This ointment is used for strains, bruises, bruises and joint diseases.

Areas of application

Arnica ointment is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It is used to stimulate tissue and organ healing in the case of blunt injuries as well as in inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system.These include, among other things, muscle strains, bruises, bruises and joint diseases.

Contraindications

The arnica ointment must not be used on children under 1 year of age, on damaged skin or if they are hypersensitive to arnica, other composite plants such as chamomile flowers, marigold or yarrow, ant poison, peanut oil, soy or any of the other ingredients.

Application instructions

The ointment should be applied to the affected area of skin once or twice a day and massaged in gently.Alternatively, an ointment bandage can be applied.After use, hands should be washed thoroughly to avoid accidental contact with open skin.

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment must not exceed 6 weeks.Without medical advice, the medicine should not be used for longer than 3-4 days if there is no improvement within this time.

Side effects

In rare cases, allergic skin reactions may occur, particularly in cases of hypersensitivity to arnica or peanut oil.If the skin becomes red or itchy, use should be stopped and a doctor consulted if necessary.

Composition

10 g of the ointment contains the following active ingredients: Arnica montana e planta tota ferm 33c Ø (0.5 g), Formica rufa ex animale toto GI Ø (0.01 g) and Symphytum officinale e radice ferm 34c Ø (0.2 g).The other ingredients are refined peanut oil, white petroleum jelly, purified water and wool wax.

Storage

The medicine should be stored away from heat.Once opened, it has a maximum shelf life of 4 months and should be stored at room temperature.

Notes

A doctor should be consulted in acute conditions with redness, swelling or overheating of the joints as well as in unclear or new symptoms that persist for more than 3-4 days.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the ointment should only be used after consulting a doctor.Wool wax can cause localized skin irritation.

There are no known interactions with other products.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
