Instructions for use of Echinacea/Viscum Comp.Gelatum

Echinacea/Viscum Comp.Gelatum is an anthroposophic medicine that is used for skin diseases that heal poorly.It is used to harmonize the building and breaking down forces of the skin in various degenerative atrophic, hyperplastic and inflammatory-ulcer diseases.These include, for example, aging skin, scarring problems, keloid formation, lower leg ulcers and skin tears in the anal region.

No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to thyme oil, rosemary oil and other essential oils, any of the other active ingredients or excipients or to other composite plants.It is also not applicable for progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukoses, collagen vascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases.For infants and small children under 2 years of age, it must not be used on the face area, especially the nose area.

Precautions and warnings

If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other medications.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the gel should be applied once or twice daily with the epidermis intact.In the case of skin defects, the gel should be applied as thick as a knife and covered with a bandage.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2-5 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be agreed with your doctor.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations from echinacea.In these cases, the medication should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Composition

10 g of the gel contains the following active ingredients: Argentum metallicum Dil.D10 0.1 g, Calendula officinalis e floribus LA 20% 1.0 g, Cuprum aceticum Dil.D6 aquos.0.1 g, Cutis feti bovis Gl Dil.D4 0.1 g, Echinacea pallida ex herba LA 20% 2.5 g, Funiculus umbilicalis bovis Gl Dil.D4 0.1 g, Placenta bovis Gl Dil.D4 0.1 g, Rosmarini aetheroleum 0.03 g, Terebinthina laricina 0.02 g, Viscum album (Mali) e planta tota ferm 34i Dil.D2 0.1g.The components 1,3,4,6,7 and 10 are raised to the power together over one level.

Other ingredients include glycerol, sodium alginate, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, aqueous colloidal silica solution prepared with citric acid monohydrate, thyme oil and purified water.

Storage and shelf life

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Do not store/keep above 25 °C!
