NOSE BALM, 10 g

Area of application

The nose balm is used according to anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to harmonize the interaction between sensation and life organization in the area of the mucous membranes of the nasopharynx and the sinuses.This is particularly relevant when there is a lack of differentiation from external influences and a weakness in the organization of life.Areas of application include acute and chronic inflammation of the mucous membranes, tissue loss (atrophy) as well as dryness and irritability.If you have facial swelling, fever, severe headaches, or persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should see a doctor.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

10 g of the nose balm contains the following active ingredients: Balsamum peruvianum 0.05 g, Berberis vulgaris e fructibus ferm 33c Ø (HAB, Vs. 33c) 1.00 g, Cajeputi aetheroleum 0.25 g, Eucalypti aetheroleum 0.25 g, Prunus spinosa e fructibus LA 25% (HAB, Vs. 12o) 0.50 g and aqueous colloidal silica solution (corresponding to Silicea colloidalis 0.05 g) prepared with citric acid monohydrate 1.25 g.Other ingredients include ethanol 96%, lecithin, virgin olive oil and wool wax.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to eucalyptus oil, cineole, balsam of Peru, cinnamon (cross allergy) or any of the other ingredients, or if you have a pronounced allergic disposition.The balm must also not be used in cases of bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudo croup or on damaged skin.The nose balm is not suitable for infants and small children up to 2 years old.In this case, “nose balm for children” should be used.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the ointment should be injected into the nose and/or applied to the nasal entrance area several times a day, especially in the evening and, if necessary, at night.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 5 days, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should be discussed with a doctor.

Intake

The ointment should be put into the nose and/or applied to the area of the nasal entrance, especially in the evening and, if necessary, at night.

Pregnancy

Like all medicines, the nose balm should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
