Birch Charcoal Comp.Hard capsules are an anthroposophical medicine that is used for acute digestive disorders with flatulence, intestinal cramps and diarrhea.This product is available without a prescription.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each hard capsule contains the following active ingredients: 27 mg Antimonit Trit.D2, 232 mg Carbo Betulae and 11 mg Chamomilla recutita, Radix, ethanol.Decoctum Ø.The following other ingredients are also included: lactose monohydrate, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) and gelatin as a capsule shell.

Areas of application

According to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature, Birkenkohle Comp.Hard capsules are used for acute indigestion with flatulence, intestinal cramps and diarrhea.

Dosage and application

The usual dosage is 1 capsule 3 to 5 times a day, which is taken whole and with plenty of liquid.The application should not last longer than 2 weeks.If a dose is missed, the next dose should be taken as usual without making up for the missed dose.

Contraindications and precautions

Birch Charcoal Comp.Hard capsules must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to chamomile or other composite plants or to any of the other ingredients.If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.The medicine should not be used in infants and young children under 6 years of age.Its use is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Interactions

There are no known interactions.However, due to the adsorption capacity of Carbo Betulae, the effect of other medicines taken at the same time may be affected.Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.
