As far as I know, this preparation is more stomach-friendly than ASA, but it can be harmful to the liver if taken over a longer period of time. I make do by alternating between a cheap painkiller containing acetylcysteic acid and paracetamol in my medicine cabinet and first-aid kit. However, we don't take any other medication and only occasionally take these painkillers for short-term, mild to moderate pain (especially headaches). We (5 adults) have not noticed any differences in terms of effectiveness and tolerability.

Helps quickly. I'm not allowed to take anything else because I have to take another medication regularly. inexpensive and helpful, better than mixed preparations!
