Paracetamol 500 - 1 A Pharma®: For pain and fever
Paracetamol 500 from 1 A Pharma is a proven medicine that helps with mild to moderate pain and fever.The tablets contain the active ingredient paracetamol, which has both pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects.This product is also suitable for people with sensitive stomachs.No prescription is required for this product.
Paracetamol 500 - 1 A Pharma® can be used in children aged 4 and over (from a body weight of 17 kg), adolescents and adults.
Active ingredient paracetamol: proven for a long time
Paracetamol is an active ingredient that has been used for many decades.It has a pain-relieving (analgesic) and fever-reducing (antipyretic) effect.Paracetamol is therefore suitable for the treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains as well as fever.One tablet of Paracetamol 500 - 1 A Pharma® contains 500 mg of paracetamol.
Good tolerance - consider paracetamol as an alternative
When dosed correctly, Paracetamol 500 - 1 A Pharma® is well tolerated and is generally also suitable for people who are sensitive to medicines, such as pregnant women, breastfeeding women and patients with sensitive stomachs.However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should seek medical or pharmaceutical advice before taking the drug.
Area of application
The preparation is a painkiller and fever-reducing medicine.It is used for mild to moderate pain and fever.The medicine should not be taken for longer than necessary without consulting a doctor or dentist.To prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
500 mg paracetamol, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, corn starch, povidone K29-32, colloidal silicon dioxide, stearic acid, 0.01 BE total carbohydrates.
Contraindications
The preparation must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.The preparation must not be taken even if liver function is severely impaired.
Dosage
The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the medicine differently.Please follow the instructions for taking the medication, otherwise the medicine will not work properly.
Body weight 19 - 25 kg/children 6 - 8 years: Single dose: 1/2 tablet (corresponding to 250 mg paracetamol), max. daily dose: 2 (4 times 1/2 tablet) (corresponding to 1000 mg paracetamol).
Body weight 26 - 32 kg/children 8 - 11 years: Single dose: 1/2 tablet (corresponding to 250 mg paracetamol), max. daily dose: 2 (4 times 1/2 tablet) (corresponding to 1000 mg paracetamol).In exceptional cases, up to 3 (6 times 1/2) tablets can be used daily, with a dosage interval of at least 4 hours, i.e.h.up to 1500 mg paracetamol daily.
Body weight 33 - 43 kg/children 11 - 12 years: Single dose: 1 tablet (corresponding to 500 mg paracetamol), max. daily dose: 4 tablets (corresponding to 2000 mg paracetamol).
Body weight from 43 kg / children and adolescents from 12 years and adults: Single dose: 1 - 2 tablets (corresponding to 500 - 1000 mg paracetamol), max. daily dose: 8 tablets (corresponding to 4000 mg paracetamol).
The intake can be repeated at intervals of 4 - 8 hours up to 3 to 4 times per day.In the case of liver or kidney dysfunction as well as congenitally increased bilirubin content in the blood (Gilbert's syndrome or Meulengracht's disease), the medicine must be taken at longer intervals or in reduced quantities.
Do not take the medicine for longer than 3 - 4 days without medical or dental advice.
Intake
Take the medicine whole with enough liquid.Taking it after meals may result in a delayed onset of action.
Patient information
The medicine may only be taken after consulting your doctor if you suffer from liver dysfunction, previously damaged kidneys or a congenitally increased bilirubin content in the blood (Gilbert syndrome or Meulengracht disease).The medicine is not suitable for children under 6 years.Long-term, high-dose, improper use of painkillers can cause headaches, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.In general, the habitual use of painkillers, especially when several painkilling agents are combined, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure (analgesic nephropathy). The uric acid determination and the blood sugar determination can be influenced.No special precautions are necessary, but caution should always be exercised after taking a painkiller.
Pregnancy
The medicine should only be taken during pregnancy after carefully weighing the benefit-risk ratio.You should not take the product during pregnancy for a long time, in high doses or in combination with other medicines, as the safety of its use in these cases has not been proven.Paracetamol passes into breast milk.Since no adverse effects on the infant have been reported, interruption of breastfeeding during treatment will not normally be necessary.
Notes
If you have pain or fever, do not use it for longer than stated in the package leaflet without medical advice!Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
Other
Due to their potency, non-divisible tablets are not suitable for children and adolescents under 11 years or under 33 kg body weight.For this purpose, medicines are available in other dosage forms or with a lower active ingredient content.If the tablets can be divided, they can be used in children with a body weight of 17 kg and above or from the age of 4 years.If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, or if you have a high fever, you should see a doctor.To prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.Long-term, high-dose, improper use of painkillers can cause headaches, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.In general, the habitual use of painkillers, especially when several painkilling agents are combined, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure (analgesic nephropathy).If painkillers are stopped abruptly after long-term, high-dose, improper use, headaches as well as fatigue, muscle pain, nervousness and vegetative symptoms may occur.The withdrawal symptoms subside within a few days.Until then, you should not take painkillers again and you should not take them again without medical advice.Do not use for long periods or in higher doses without medical or dental advice.The uric acid determination and the blood sugar determination can be influenced.Must not be taken or administered with alcohol.Interactions with other medicines must be taken into account.
