MiteEx veterinary (for animals)

MitenEx veterinary is a spray that protects animals from mites and other insects.It is suitable for cats, dogs and horses, including young animals aged four months and over.The product offers up to five hours of protection against mites, fleas, lice and ticks.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Skin problems caused by mites and lice often occur in young and older animals.A weakened immune system, shedding and metabolic problems can also be triggering factors.MitenEx repels these parasites by adhering the active ingredient from the leaves of lemon eucalyptus to the animal's skin and hair.The repellent active ingredient has a smell that is unattractive to mites and thus prevents parasite infestation.If there are several animals in the household, it is recommended that all animals be treated accordingly.

MitenEx veterinary contains Eucalyptus citriodora oil hydrolyzed, cyclized (EC oil (H/C)) as the active ingredient with a concentration of 100 g/L.The origin of the active ingredient are the leaves of the lemon eucalyptus.The product also contains citronellol, which can cause allergic reactions.People with skin sensitization problems should exercise caution when using the product.

Application

Please shake the spray well before use.Spray MitenEx veterinary against the fur line 1-2 times a day, moisten the fur evenly and then massage it in.Do not spray the face directly, but treat it with your hands while they are still wet.Avoid the mouth and eye area.Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Dosage

The application rate depends on the size of the animal and the size of the bottle.For a bottle up to 250 ml: Cats and small dogs (under 10 kg) need 3-6 sprays, medium dogs (over 25 kg) 10-15 sprays and large dogs (over 40 kg) 20-30 sprays.One spray corresponds to approximately 0.15 ml. For a bottle of 500 ml or more: Medium-sized dogs (over 25 kg) need 1-2 sprays, large dogs (over 40 kg) need 2-4 sprays and horses 20-30 sprays.One spray corresponds to approximately 1.3 ml.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Notes

Do not store the product below 18°C.Biocides should be used safely.Always read the label and product information before use.The product is classified as significantly hazardous to water.Avoid direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes.The product must be kept out of the reach of children.If swallowed, rinse mouth immediately with water and seek medical advice.In case of skin contact, wash off immediately with plenty of water and soap.If eye contact occurs, rinse gently with water for several minutes and consult an ophthalmologist.
