Ear mites can be a significant problem for our pets.These tiny parasites prefer the external ear canal and the inner ear as their habitat.An infestation is noticeable through severe itching, which causes the animals to frequently shake their heads and sometimes even scratch themselves bloody.Large amounts of reddish-brown to black earwax also form.If the mite infestation is not treated in time, secondary bacterial infections can develop.

Repellent

The ear cleaner contains citronellol, which can cause allergic reactions.

Application

Shake well before using the ear cleaner.

Hold the animal's head tilted slightly downward so that the ear canal faces downward.Depending on the size of the animal, 1 to 3 squirts of the ear cleaner should be given into the external ear canal every day.One squirt is equivalent to approximately 0.2 ml. The cleaning effect can be enhanced by carefully massaging the ear.The loosened dirt and earwax are then shaken out by the animal on their own.

It should be used daily for a period of three weeks, after which it is sufficient to use the ear cleaner once or twice a week until improvement occurs.

Ingredients

The active ingredient of the MitenEx ear cleaner is Eucalyptus citriodora oil hydrolyzed, cyclized, also known as EC oil (H/C), with a concentration of 100 g per liter.This active ingredient is obtained from the leaves of lemon eucalyptus.The registration number at the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) is N-84837.

Causes serious eye irritation.Keep out of reach of children.Wear protective gloves, eye protection and face protection.After swallowing: Rinse mouth immediately and spit out liquid, only if the injured person is conscious.Do not induce vomiting.If you have any symptoms, seek medical treatment.After skin contact: In case of contact with skin, wash off immediately with plenty of water and soap.If you have any symptoms, seek medical advice.After inhalation: Remove the affected person to fresh air.If you have any symptoms, seek medical advice.If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.If possible, remove any contact lenses and continue rinsing.After eye contact: If you come into contact with your eyes, immediately rinse them with running water for 10 to 15 minutes with the eyelids open and consult an ophthalmologist.Remove any contact lenses you may have if it is easy to do so.If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice or attention.Change soiled, soaked clothing immediately and wash before wearing again.Dispose of contents and containers at an approved waste disposal facility.
