Glandomed rinsing solution is a medical mouth rinsing solution for thorough cleaning of the mouth, especially in cases of oral mucositis. It contains no irritating ingredients or alcohol and is therefore well tolerated, even by sensitive oral mucosa. The special mild ingredients (macrogols) intensively wet the oral mucosa and loosen coatings and encrustations during rinsing. This reduces plaque formation and prevents infections in the mouth. The application is undiluted and the mouth is rinsed for 2 minutes with approx. 20 ml Glandomed. It is recommended to use Glandomed every 2 hours and before going to bed if mucositis or dry mouth is present. After application, do not eat or drink for 15 minutes and do not rinse with water. The solution should not be used if there are any detectable particles or crystals. Glandomed is stored at room temperature and protected from light. The exact composition of the rinsing solution contains macrogol, sodium hydrogen carbonate, saccharin sodium, sodium edetate, chlorhexidine digluconate, orange flavouring and water. This is a medical device that should be kept out of reach of children.
