Glandomed® - For mucositis (inflammation of the mucous membrane)

Glandomed® is a mouthwash solution that uses macrogols to thoroughly clean the oral mucosa, gums and teeth.Macrogols are very well tolerated polymers (macromolecules) which, by reducing surface tension, ensure better wetting of the oral mucosa and dissolve fats and tannins.Regular and intensive rinsing with Glandomed® reduces plaque formation and prevents infections in the mouth.It does not contain alcohol, so it is particularly mild and well tolerated even in cases of mouth inflammation.

Area of application

Glandomed rinsing solution is a mouthwash solution for gentle, mild and thorough cleaning of the mouth, especially in the case of oral mucositis (inflammation of the oral mucosa) of any origin.Regular and intensive rinsing with Glandomed reduces plaque formation and prevents infections in the mouth.It does not contain alcohol, so it is particularly mild and well tolerated even in cases of mouth inflammation.

Composition of Glandomed rinsing solution: Macrogol 300, Macrogol 1500, sodium hydrogen carbonate, saccharin sodium, sodium edetate, chlorhexidine digluconate, orange flavor, water.

Contraindications

Glandomed rinsing solution must not be used if hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or one of the other ingredients is known.

Dosage

Dosage recommendation for Glandomed rinsing solution: Glandomed is a ready-to-use, medical mouth rinsing solution and is used undiluted.After eating and before going to bed, the mouth is carefully rinsed with approx. 20 ml of Glandomed (measuring cup on the cap).Glandomed should be moved back and forth in the mouth for 2 minutes and then spit out.Do not rinse with water and do not eat or drink for 15 minutes.Glandomed can also be used more often if necessary.If you have mucositis or xerostomia (dry mouth due to reduced saliva production), it is recommended to clean your mouth with Glandomed, if possible every 2 hours and before going to bed (as described above).
