Directions for use of the article LipoSaliva Mouth Moisturising Spray: LipoSaliva Mouth Moisturiser is a saliva substitute for dry mouth of various causes, such as side effects of medicines, disease treatments (e.g. chemotherapy or radiotherapy), illnesses and menopause. It moisturises saliva and reduces its surface tension to promote the natural healing process of irritated mucous membranes. LipoSaliva Mouth Moisturiser should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Dosage is as needed by spraying the oral mucosa, and overdosing is not possible. Due to the liposmal formulation, the product is an opalescent liquid with a milky appearance and a characteristic odour of lecithin. Small cloudiness/deposits may occur during storage, but these do not affect efficacy or tolerability. The product should be stored in a cool, dry place and out of the reach of children. It should not be used after the expiry date. The ingredients include soya lecithin, ethanol, menthol, myrrh, vitamin E, aqua purificata and chlorhexidine diacetate as a preservative.
