Summary: Aurica Oak Bark Tea is a herbal medicine used for acute diarrhoea, inflammation of the mouth and throat, and inflammatory skin conditions. The tea consists of dried and crushed pieces of oak bark. It contains tannins that have an astringent effect and promote the formation of scabs. The tea can be drunk internally or used externally, e.g. for rinsing, gargling or for poultices. The dosage and application depend on the complaints and the age of the patient. Side effects are not known. Pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 12 years of age should not use the tea. Before use, possible interactions with other medicines should be taken into account. If symptoms persist or the diagnosis is uncertain, a doctor should be consulted.
