Instructions for use of the article Curapor Wound Dressing Sterile Transparent 10x25 cm: The transparent wound dressing Curapor is a waterproof and breathable wound dressing made of foil. It is ready to use and is suitable as a cover for showering and swimming. Curapor is transparent, waterproof, breathable, impermeable to bacteria and resistant to disinfectants. It adheres securely and precisely, can be removed with little residue or pain and hardly sticks to the wound. The wound dressing is also suitable for sensitive skin. Application is simple: The backing paper is opened and pulled apart, the product is turned over and gently pressed onto the cleansed skin. The support film can then be pulled off. The wound dressing consists of a backing film made of 100 % polyurethane and a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. The wound pad consists of an absorbent layer of viscose/polyester and a wound contact layer of polyester/polyethylene. Curapor is suitable for the sterile treatment of post-operative wounds, accidental injuries, small cuts and abrasions, minimally invasive surgery and for protection against secondary infections.
