Fixomull stretch is an adhesive dressing suitable for the fixation of wound dressings. The dressing can be applied over the entire surface of frequently moving parts of the body and joints and is also suitable for attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements. Due to its transverse elasticity, the dressing adapts well to strongly contoured parts of the body and prevents strangulation and circulatory problems. The material consists of a polyester fleece coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. Fixomull stretch has good immediate and permanent adhesion and is permeable to air and water vapour. It is well tolerated by skin-sensitive patients and is easy to apply. For application, the required amount is cut off, the protective film is removed and the dressing is smoothed out. Fixomull stretch can be cut to size and is flexible. The product is made by BSN medical GmbH.
