Information for use with the product Sidroga Johanniskrauttee: Sidroga St. John's wort is a herbal medicinal product traditionally used for calming and exhaustion. It is used internally to support the treatment of nervous restlessness and sleep disorders and to relieve temporary mental exhaustion. Please note, however, that the applications are based exclusively on many years of experience and it is important to follow the package leaflet. Before using Sidroga St. John's wort, make sure that you are not allergic to St. John's wort or hypersensitive to light. You should seek medical advice if your symptoms intensify or persist for a long time. Also, if you are taking other medicines, talk to a doctor or pharmacist before taking St. John's wort. The dosage for adults is 1-2 tea bags, twice daily in the morning and evening, regardless of meals. To relieve mental fatigue, you can use 1 tea bag 2-3 times a day. Pour boiling water (approx. 150ml) over one filter bag and let the tea infusion steep for about 10 minutes. The duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks, unless a doctor has prescribed otherwise. In case of an overdose or if you experience any symptoms, please consult a doctor. During use, the skin may react more sensitively to UV-radiation, so excessive sunbathing or solariums should be avoided. Side effects such as gastrointestinal disorders, hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, tiredness and restlessness may occur.
