Sedariston Concentrate Hard Capsules are a herbal medicinal product for the supportive treatment of mild temporary depressive disorders with nervous restlessness and nervous-induced difficulties in falling asleep. It contains dry extracts of St. John's wort and valerian root. The capsules have a calming, sleep-promoting and mood-lifting effect. The herbal ingredients help build up inner strength and cope with stressful situations. Sedariston concentrate is well tolerated and takes effect after a short time. Children from 6 years of age can take 1 capsule daily, adolescents from 12 years of age and adults take either 1 capsule 4 times daily or 2 capsules 2 times daily. The capsules are taken with liquid and an optimal effect is achieved by taking them regularly at the same times. The capsules can be taken over a longer period of time. Mild side effects may occur but are rare. People with hypersensitivity to the ingredients or increased photosensitivity of the skin should not take the medicine. There are no special restrictions for pregnant or breastfeeding women, but it is recommended to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Sedaristone concentrate is available without a prescription and should be stored away from heat.
