Instructions for use for LOPACUT 2 mg film-coated tablets, 10 pcs

Lopacut 2 mg film-coated tablets are a medicine used to relieve acute symptoms of brief diarrhoea in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. It contains the active ingredient loperamide hydrochloride and works by firming stools and reducing stool frequency. The recommended dosage in adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults is 2 tablets to start, followed by 1 tablet after each unformed stool. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets for adults and 4 tablets for adolescents. The medicine should not be taken for more than 2 days without consulting a doctor. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dry mouth, headache and tiredness. People with allergies to certain ingredients or with certain conditions such as constipation, ulcerative colitis or liver disease should not take the medicine.
