Mefix fixation fleece is an air-permeable and stretchable fleece for the complete fixation of dressings. It can also be used over joints and provides gentle and secure adhesion. The fleece is non-absorbent and prevents liquids from soaking through. The skin-friendly water-based polyacrylate adhesive enables secure fixation. The protective paper is marked and perforated to facilitate removal and application of the dressing. Mefix is made of a lightweight and elastic polyester non-woven fabric and is protected by an easy-to-remove film. It can be used to fix dressings, compresses, catheters and cannulas.
