Instructions for use of the article Mucofalk Fit Granulat Beutel: Mucofalk Fit Granulat contains Indian psyllium husk as the active ingredient. It is used in cases of prolonged constipation, diseases requiring easier evacuation of the bowels with soft stools, diarrhoea and diseases in which an increase in fibre intake is desired. It should always be taken as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Mucofalk Fit must not be taken in certain conditions such as allergy to psyllium, sudden change in bowel habits or existing intestinal obstruction. The usual dosage for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age is the contents of a sachet 2-3 times a day after stirring it into at least 150 ml of liquid. The effect usually sets in after 12-24 hours. Side effects may include flatulence, bloating and hypersensitivity reactions. Mucofalk Fit should not be used for children under 12 years of age. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used beyond the expiry date.
