Directions for use of Stannum Metallicum Ointment 0.4% Indications - Stannum Metallicum Ointment 0.4% is used in accordance with the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature for inflammatory dissolving and degenerative hardening diseases. - It is used especially to prevent chronic secretions, in liver diseases with a hardening tendency and as an additional treatment for depressive moods. Important information - Read the package leaflet before use and ask your doctor or pharmacist. - Stannum Metallicum Ointment 0.4% should not be used without medical advice. - If symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear, please consult a doctor. - Children under 4 years of age should not use the ointment, children over 4 years of age and adolescents only on medical advice. - During pregnancy and breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before use. - There are no known interactions with other medicines. - Follow the instructions for use on the package leaflet. Use - Always use Stannum Metallicum Ointment 0.4% exactly as prescribed by your doctor. - In the case of joint effusion: apply a 2-3 cm strand of ointment to the affected joint 1-2 times a day and leave an ointment flap on overnight. - In case of pleural effusion: apply an ointment flap over the affected area 1-2 times a day. - For liver treatment and as an additional treatment for depressive moods: apply at night as an ointment flap over the liver area. - Children from the age of 4 years should be dosed according to the doctor's instructions. - In chronic diseases, take a break after 4-6 weeks of use. - Do not repeat forgotten applications with a double dose. Side effects - There are no known side effects. - If side effects occur, contact your doctor or pharmacist or report them to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices.
