The active ingredients of iodine tincture Hetterich are iodine and potassium iodide.Each 100g solution contains 2.5g iodine and 2.5g potassium iodide.Additionally, the tincture contains ethanol 90% (VA/) and purified water.

Contraindications and precautions

Iodine tincture Hetterich must not be used if you are hypersensitive to iodine.In patients with an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism), caution is advised when treating larger areas of skin because iodine is absorbed through the skin.The tincture must not be used together with medicines containing mercury.The tincture should not be used in newborns, especially premature babies, and infants up to one year of age.

Side effects
