Area of application

Sterillium solution is a hand disinfectant that is effective against bacteria, yeast and enveloped viruses such as influenza viruses.It is suitable for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection as well as for skin disinfection before injections and punctures.The product is particularly skin-friendly, moisturizes and increases skin moisture when used regularly.It is free of dyes and perfumes and is characterized by an excellent immediate effect.

Sterillium solution is ideal for the home medicine cabinet and can be used in various areas, such as healthcare, industry, home nursing, elderly and infant care as well as home dialysis.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

100 g of Sterillium solution contains the following active ingredients: 45 g of propan-2-ol, 30 g of propan-1-ol and 0.2 g of mecetronium etil sulfate.Other ingredients include glycerol 85%, tetradecan-1-ol, fragrance, patent blue V 85% and purified water.

Contraindications

Sterillium solution should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or in newborns and premature babies.It is not suitable for disinfecting mucous membranes and must not be used in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or open wounds.

Dosage

Sterillium solution is used for different lengths of time depending on the desired disinfection effect.For hygienic hand disinfection, the agent should be rubbed into dry hands for at least 30 seconds.For surgical hand disinfection, the rubbing time is at least 1.5 minutes.Before injections and punctures, the agent should be worked into dry skin for 15 seconds.

Notes

Sterillium solution should not be brought into contact with open flames and should not be used near ignition sources.If the disinfectant is spilled, the liquid should be picked up immediately, diluted with plenty of water and the room ventilated.In the event of a fire, fire can be extinguished with water, dry powder, foam or CO2.

The medicine must be protected from heat and kept in the dark.Once opened, it may be used for a maximum of 1 year and should be stored at room temperature and in the dark.
